Anders Elten

Anders Elten is a Danish percussionist and educator specializing in the marimba. He currently serves as a Part-Time Lecturer at The Royal Danish Academy of Music (Copenhagen) and the University of Stavanger, Faculty of Performing Arts, where he teaches keyboard percussion. Additionally, he is a regular guest teacher at Theodor Milkov's International Marimba Summer Camp (MIMSC).

• Education: Graduated from the Soloist Class at The Royal Danish Academy of Music in 2019, studying under Professor Gert Mortensen and Johan Bridger.

Elten focuses on advancing marimba playing styles, collaborating with composers to expand the modern marimba repertoire. He has premiered works by Benjamin de Murashkin, Jeppe Ernst, and Daniel Fladmose, including a concerto with Aalborg Symphony Orchestra in 2019. In 2021, he and duo partner Mathias Reumert premiered Philippe Manoury’s 'ARGUMENTA' for percussion duo.
