Anant Sudarshan

Dr. Anant Sudarshan is a Professor at the Department of Economics at the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, a position he has held since September 2022. Prior to this, he served as the South-Asia Director of the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago (EPIC) and taught at the Harris School of Public Policy. He maintains dual academic affiliations as both a Professor at Warwick and a Senior Fellow at EPIC, reflecting his significant contributions to energy policy research.

Dr. Sudarshan received his PhD in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University. His educational background also includes a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. This interdisciplinary training in engineering and economics forms the foundation of his research approach.
