Anandita Bajpai

Dr. Anandita Bajpai is a Research Fellow at Leibniz-Zentrum Moderner Orient (ZMO) in Berlin and Principal Investigator for the Leibniz Collaborative Excellence Project Crafting Entanglements: Afro-Asian Pasts of the Global Cold War (CRAFTE). Her work bridges historical anthropology, media studies, and transnational Cold War history.

Research interests include media entanglements, affective trajectories of international radio broadcasting, and material culture of Cold War radio networks. She explores how radio objects (gifts, letters, journals) shaped Afro-Asian solidarity and everyday life in India.

Articles reveal interdisciplinary engagement with Cold War geopolitics, radio archives, and 听众集体记忆. Themes span radio diplomacy, epistolary networks, and transnational affective spaces.
