Dr. Anand Kumar is a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Max Rady College of Medicine, University of Manitoba, with cross-appointments in Pharmacology and Therapeutics. He is an attending physician at Health Sciences Centre and St-Boniface Hospital. His research focuses on septic shock, ICU management of pandemics (e.g., COVID-19), and optimizing antimicrobial therapy. He leads the Cooperative Antimicrobial Therapy of Septic Shock Research Group and is a member of the CHIRON Research Group.
