Anahit Khosroeva is a Visiting Professor at Harvard University's Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations from September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2025. She is a genocide scholar specializing in the Armenian/Assyrian/Greek genocide during the Ottoman period (1894–1923), with expertise in comparative genocide studies, human rights, and international law.
Her current projects include translating her Ph.D. dissertation on Assyrians in the WWI genocide into English and collaborating on a Russian-to-English translation of a biographical dictionary about Assyrians in Russia (19th–20th centuries). She is also conducting archival research at Widener Library on modern Assyrian history, focusing on sources from the Former Soviet Union.
Dr. Khosroeva has authored numerous books, monographs, and articles in multiple languages, including Armenian, Assyrian, English, Russian, Farsi, Arabic, and Spanish. Her work bridges historical analysis with contemporary human rights discourse.
