Ana María Sánchez Rodríguez is an Adjunct Assistant Professor affiliated with the ALL Institute at Maynooth University. She holds a PhD in Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts Boston and an MSc in NGO Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her research focuses on disability, scaling for social impact, civil society organizations, human rights, gender, and ethics. She has conducted postdoctoral research on scaling up social community innovations by organizations of persons with disabilities, with global collaborations in Latin America, Africa, Southeast Asia, Mexico, India, Lao PDR, France, and Ireland.
Her work emphasizes critical analysis of policy interventions addressing inequality and inclusion. She has held fellowships including the Inter-American Grassroots Development (2015–16) and the Irish Research Council’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions COFUND (CAROLINE 2017). Her research bridges academic inquiry with grassroots activism, particularly in disability rights and gender equity.
