Ana Filipa Naughton Henriques Andrez

Ana Filipa Naughton Henriques Andrez is an Assistant Researcher at the Centre for Marine Sciences (CCMAR), University of Algarve, Portugal, based at the Portuguese Institute for the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) in Algés, Lisbon. She is a core member of the Oceanography and Climate Change research group.

Her research focuses on oceanographic processes and climate dynamics, particularly abrupt hydroclimate variations in mid-latitude North Atlantic systems as evidenced by her involvement in the Hydroshifts project. Key interests span ocean-atmosphere interactions, marine climate modeling, and paleoceanographic reconstructions.

She actively contributes to interdisciplinary marine science initiatives through CCMAR's research infrastructure and collaborations with national agencies like IPMA.
