Ana Coimbra Trigo is a Guest Professor at NOVA School of Law, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and a senior associate in PLMJ’s Dispute Resolution practice. She specializes in arbitration (domestic, international, commercial, and investment) and court cases related to civil and commercial law, with a focus on corporate human rights accountability and due diligence.

Her research focuses on arbitration, corporate accountability for human rights abuses, due diligence in global supply chains, and private international law. Her work intersects environmental justice, ESG compliance, and international trade policy. Recent publications highlight trends in mandatory human rights and environmental due diligence legislation, corporate liability for extraterritorial harms, and social justice in globalized economies.
Scientific awards include the Prémio eLearning Practitioner (2016) for innovative academic course design. She is deputy director of the Revista Internacional de Arbitragem e Conciliação and serves on the secretariat of the Lusophone Arbitrators Club. Her practical experience includes a Fulbright Scholarship and roles in high-profile arbitration teams.
