Ana Aliverti is a Professor at the School of Law, University of Warwick, specializing in the intersections of criminal justice and border regimes. Her research examines how criminal justice institutions adapt to migration controls and explores themes of citizenship and state power.
Research interests include: policing, immigration enforcement, criminal courts, and the moral dimensions of border work. Current projects investigate emotional economies in marginality governance and humanitarian border controls.
Awards include the British Society of Criminology Book Prize and Radzinowicz Prize for her work on migration policing.
