An Hertogen

An Hertogen is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Auckland Waipapa Taumata Rau, New Zealand, and holds a Senior Fellow position at the University of Melbourne’s Melbourne Law School. She specializes in international law and international economic law, with a research focus on topics such as trade law and legal frameworks in Aotearoa New Zealand. Her academic background includes a law degree from KU Leuven (Belgium), an LLM from Columbia University, and a PhD from the University of Auckland.

She co-edited International Law in Aotearoa New Zealand (2021) and serves on the Council of the Australian and New Zealand Society of International Law (ANZSIL), holding the role of New Zealand Vice-President since 2023.
