Amyn Rojiani

Amyn Rojiani is a Professor and University Chair in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, specializing in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology. With a medical degree from Jinnah Sindh Medical University (1982) and a PhD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (1987), he completed a Neuropathology Fellowship at the University of British Columbia (1991).

His research focuses on Neuropathology, Anatomic Pathology, Cancer Biology, and Molecular Pathology, particularly in pediatric brain tumors, colorectal cancer, and Lung Cancer. His recent work explores immunogenomic signatures, TIMP-1 mechanisms, and clinical trials in oncology. He has published 138 peer-reviewed articles, with 15 recent works spanning topics like chemo-immunotherapy, prognostic biomarkers, and gender equity in academic leadership.

Amyn Rojiani has contributed to 2024 with studies on pediatric neuro-oncology and NSCLC tumor biology, and to 2023 with analyses of gender disparities in pathology chair positions. His collaborations extend internationally, focusing on non-small cell lung cancer, colorectal cancer, and academic pathology leadership.
