Dr. Amye Melton is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Marketing at Austin Peay State University (APSU). She holds a D.B.A. from Walden University (2012), an M.B.A. from Middle Tennessee State University (2004), and a B.S. from Campbellsville University (1994). Her research focuses on Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, Supply Chain Management, Student Engagement, Globalization, and Ethics & Diversity in Business.
Her work explores topics such as DEAI strategies, telework policies, corporate citizenship, and economic freedom. Recent studies include analyzing the societal impact of small business policies and leveraging technology for market entry barriers. She has contributed to journals like Global Journal of Management & Marketing and Journal of Business Leadership.
Dr. Melton serves as a Peer Reviewer for Quality Matters (2019–2023) and holds a CITI Program certification (valid until 2026).
