Amy Zidulka is an Associate Professor at Royal Roads University's Faculty of Management. She specializes in creativity, innovation, design thinking, argumentation, and management education. She leads courses in these areas and co-leads the Master of Business Administration capstone project, where students tackle organizational challenges for real clients. She actively mentors new faculty members and is a founding member of the BC Design Thinking Collective. Zidulka initiated and organizes the Royal Roads Design Thinking Challenge, fostering innovation in education and community projects.
Her research focuses on how innovation thrives in traditional bureaucratic organizations, with current projects in the Ministry of Health. She has received the MBA Professionalism and Dedication Award twice and was nominated for the Kelly Outstanding Teaching Award. Zidulka has published in the Journal of Management Education and contributed to the book Designing Business and Management, alongside presenting at conferences.
