Professor Amy Simons teaches at the University of Missouri's School of Journalism, specializing in news literacy, multimedia journalism, and advanced social media strategies. She coordinates the introductory course 'Applied Projects for Journalism and Strategic Communication' (J1400) and advises Mizzou Women in Media. With a background spanning 15 years in journalism (Chicago Tribune, CLTV News), she focuses on digital workflows and AI integration in reporting.
