Amy R. Sheon

Amy R. Sheon holds multiple Adjunct Associate Professor appointments at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, spanning the Departments of Bioethics, Family Medicine and Community Health, and Population and Quantitative Health Sciences. She is also a Digital Health Equity Consultant at Public Health Innovators, LLC. With over 25 years of experience in government, academia, and non-profit sectors, she leverages institutional assets to address health challenges in Cleveland. Her academic journey includes an MPH from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Her career highlights include founding the Urban Health Initiative at Case Western Reserve University (2011), co-directing the Childhood Obesity Prevention Mission Project at Altarum Institute, establishing three centers at the University of Michigan focusing on clinical research, bioethics, and youth education, and contributing to HIV prevention and cancer genetics research at the National Institutes of Health.
