Dr. Amy Lidster is a Lecturer in Department of English Language and Literature at University of Oxford. Currently affiliated with Corpus Christi College, she previously held positions at King's College London and Jesus College. Her work bridges Shakespeare and early modern literature with book history and wartime culture.

Her research explores interdisciplinary intersections between literature and history, emphasizing performance practices, textual afterlives, and authorship negotiation through early modern paratexts. Recent publications analyze Shakespeare's wartime mobilization, book history, and global reception of texts.
Notable accolades include the 2023 Palmer Award for Best New Essay and fellowships at Huntington Library and Folger Shakespeare Library. She teaches English literature from 1550 to 1830 and supervises MSt and undergraduate dissertations, with upcoming editions of Edward III and 1 Henry VI.
