Amy Johnson is a Lecturer and Course Leader for Criminology and Criminology Pathways at the University of Worcester’s School of Health and Wellbeing, within the Department of Community, Social Justice and Health. She has been at the institution for four years, focusing on integrating real-world challenges into teaching and collaborating with local organizations to provide student placements.

- Postgraduate Certificate Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (FHEA)
Research Interests: Amy explores offender management, criminal justice system interventions for individuals with behavioral challenges and intellectual disabilities, and evidence-based behavior change strategies. Her recent work includes a large-scale project developing interventions for men in substance use treatment who perpetrate intimate partner abuse. She also delivers nationwide training on intimate partner violence and ADVANCE to substance use service practitioners.

Teaching & Supervision: Leads modules such as CRMN2104 (Delivering Rehabilitation) and CRMN3002 (Independent Study), supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students. She emphasizes offender rehabilitation and criminological theory in her teaching.
Labs/Teams: Active in interdisciplinary collaborations across Worcestershire to enhance student volunteer and placement opportunities.
