Amy Graham is a Research Fellow at the Merrill Palmer Skillman Institute and doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Wayne State University. Advised by Dr. Steven Ondersma, her work focuses on optimizing e-health interventions for substance-exposed pregnancies and perinatal substance use. She holds dual titles in Clinical Psychology and Infant Mental Health.
Education: B.A. Psychology (Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, 2013); M.A. Clinical Psychology (expected 2017); Doctoral studies in Clinical Psychology with focus on preconception interventions.
Research interests include brief interventions for substance use disorders, maternal health optimization, and trauma-informed care. Her work combines digital health innovation with clinical practice, emphasizing mindfulness-based and motivational interviewing approaches.
Publications focus on EtG/EtS biomarker validation and e-intervention efficacy. Awards include INEBRIA Travel Award and Merrill Palmer Research Fellowship. She serves on the WCCC Eastside Advisory Board and leads substance use support groups at Wayne State clinics.
