Amy Delo is a Research Fellow at the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies, University of Washington, and affiliated with the International Policy Institute. Her work focuses on the intersection of sub-state nationalism and international governance, particularly examining Québec's national identity dynamics and the inclusion of ethno-national and Indigenous groups in the Arctic Council.
Her research explores how non-state actors like Québec and Indigenous peoples gain legitimacy within international frameworks. She has contributed to projects such as Co-Designing Civic Education for the Circumpolar North (2021-23) and Social Services, Support & Wellbeing in Arctic Canada & Beyond (2020-22), emphasizing cross-border collaboration and Arctic policy.
As a 2016 graduate with an MA in International Studies, Delo's expertise spans Arctic governance, national identity, and Indigenous participation in global institutions. She is associated with the Canadian Studies Center and contributes to the University of Washington's Arctic Initiative.
