Amy Beecher is an Assistant Professor at Emerson College's Visual and Media Arts Department, combining visual art practice with critical pedagogy. Her work examines intersections of retail aesthetics and feminist theory through performances like Container Store Cantastoria, which merges MacDowell Colony fellowship research on Cathy comic revisions with avant-garde manifestos.
