Amy B. Lewin

Amy B. Lewin is an Associate Professor in Family Science at the University of Maryland School of Public Health. A clinical psychologist by training, her research develops community-led interventions to address health and education disparities affecting marginalized youth and families, with focus on adolescent sexual and mental health.

Dr. Lewin holds a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers University and completed an NIMH Postdoctoral Fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center. Prior to joining UMD in 2014, she served on the faculty at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
