Wendy Schiff

Wendy Schiff serves as the Department Chair of Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology's Washington, DC campus. She joined the faculty in 2019 after over 19 years on the faculty of the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, as well as clinical faculty roles at Children's National Medical Center and George Washington University School of Medicine.

• Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, Child and Family Track from University of Miami (1995)
• Pre-doctoral Internship at University of Maryland School of Medicine (1995)
• Postdoctoral Fellowship at NIMH, Children's National Medical Center (1997)

Dr. Schiff's research and teaching focus on family therapy with diverse populations, child and family coping mechanisms for chronic illness, pain management strategies, and graduate student success. She has also contributed to literature on child and adolescent psychopathology, lifespan development, and history/systems of psychology.
