Amrita Daftary is an Assistant Professor at the York University School of Global Health, with over 15 years of research experience in TB-HIV comorbidity, drug-resistant TB, and social determinants of health. She holds adjunct appointments at the Centre for the AIDS Programme of Research in South Africa (CAPRISA) and the Dalla Lana School of Public Health (University of Toronto). Her work combines social science frameworks with global health practice, focusing on stigma reduction, treatment adherence, and equity-oriented interventions.
