Amrita Daftary, Associate Professor at York University's School of Health Policy & Management, is a leading researcher in tuberculosis and HIV co-infection, with fieldwork in Sub-Saharan Africa, India, and Eastern Europe. She directs the Social Sciences & Health Innovations For Tuberculosis (SSHIFTB) initiative and holds affiliations with CAPRISA (South Africa) and the McGill International TB Centre.
