Amna Rafique is a predoctoral researcher at CIC energiGUNE, affiliated with the DESTINY European Doctoral Program. She holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, Pakistan, and earned her master's in Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion (MESC+) through an Erasmus Mundus program across three European institutions.

Her research focuses on electrochemical energy storage, with specialized work on synthesis and crystal chemistry of negative electrodes, interfacial analysis for anode-less solid-state batteries, and materials synthesis. She conducted her master's thesis at the Laboratory of Reactivity and Chemistry of Solids (LRCS), France, and continues doctoral research there under the DESTINY program.
