Miguel Ceja is a predoctoral researcher funded by ALISTORE ERI, currently co-supervised by the University of Bordeaux and CIC energiGUNE. His work focuses on composition-structure-properties relationships in ternary ceramic electrolytes of A3MX6 metal halides. Previously, he worked at South 8 Technologies and CIC EnergiGUNE on battery technologies.
- Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering with Nanoengineering specialization from University of California, San Diego
- Master's from the MESC+ EMJMD program, with thesis work on solid electrolytes at TU Delft
Miguel's research spans electrochemical energy storage, solid-state electrolytes, and materials characterization, leveraging advanced techniques like solid-state NMR and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). His expertise includes multi-scale dynamics analysis, ion conduction, and battery fabrication.
His scientific achievements include recognition as an ERASMUS+ EMJMD Scholar. His current work aims to innovate next-generation energy storage through ceramic electrolytes.
