Amna Ansari is a Researcher at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge, and a Research Associate at the REAL Centre. She has led impactful education research projects in South Asia and Africa, including the Tanzanian Learner Guide Programme with CAMFED International, sustainability evaluations of the Girls’ Education Challenge (GEC), and optimizing Education Information Management Systems in GPE member countries.

Her research focuses on early childhood development, gender equity in education, and systems research in education policy. She has contributed to studies on maternal mental health impacts on child development, risks to school readiness in Pakistan, and scaling data-driven school improvement strategies.
Her recent publications analyze trends in education technology, GESI-responsive research, and the long-term benefits of early childhood investment. These works emphasize cross-sectoral collaboration, digital innovation, and equity-focused policy design.
