Associate Professor Amity James is a leading housing researcher at Curtin University's School of Accounting, Economics and Finance (Faculty of Business and Law). She serves as Discipline Lead for Property and Deputy Director of the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI) - Curtin Research Centre. Her research focuses on housing affordability, aging populations, and private rental sector dynamics, with particular attention to gendered housing disparities and older adult housing security.
