Amit Kumar Mishra

Amit Kumar Mishra serves as a Research Fellow (PhD Fellow) at Aalborg University within the Faculty of Engineering and Science and AAU Energy department, specializing in advanced carbon management technologies.

His research centers on Carbon Capture and Storage, Thermal Engineering, and Chemical Process Engineering, with specific expertise in calcination techniques, alternative heating methods, and reaction atmosphere optimization for CO₂ capture systems. Current work focuses on enhancing CO₂ utilization through innovative process engineering solutions.

Mishra leads the active PhD project "Innovative Calcination Techniques for Enhanced CO₂ Capture and Utilization: Exploring Alternative Heating Methods and Reaction Atmospheres" (December 2024–November 2027) as Principal Investigator, funded through university research channels under supervisor Professor T. H. Pedersen.
