Professor Amirali Minbashian is a distinguished faculty member in the School of Management and Governance at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), where he holds a Professor position specializing in organizational psychology and behavior.
His educational background includes a PhD in Organisational Psychology, a Bachelor of Psychology, a Master of Commerce in Finance, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Accounting, all obtained from UNSW.
Professor Minbashian's research focuses on the role of individual differences, particularly personality and emotional intelligence, and psychological processes in workplace behavior. His work examines how these factors influence how people feel, think, and behave in organizational settings. He has also developed significant expertise in research methodology, particularly meta-analytic approaches to studying workplace phenomena.
His recent publications reveal a strong focus on cognitive reflection and decision-making, organizational voice mechanisms, customer-employee interactions, change management in healthcare settings, and the evolving landscape of emotional intelligence across generations.
