Amir Etemad Shahidi is an Associate Professor at Griffith University's School of Engineering and Built Environment, specializing in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He holds roles as Director of Civil Engineering Double Degrees and Deputy Head of Research (former). His research focuses on Coastal Engineering, Marine Renewable Energy, and Climate Change impacts. He has published 110+ papers, with an H-index of 34 and 3500+ citations (SCOPUS). He leads industrial projects in Water/Coastal Engineering and is a member of the Cities Research Institute and Australian Rivers Institute.
