Amin Azzam

Amin Azzam, MD, MA, is a Professor affiliated with three San Francisco Bay Area universities: the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, the University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health, and Samuel Merritt University. His work focuses on innovative approaches to health professional education, including Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Simulation-Based Learning (SBL), and Open Educational Pedagogy (OEP).

Amin resides in Oakland with his wife, June, and children, Remy and Margo. The family enjoys camping, board games, and international travel.
