Ameek Kaur

Dr. Ameek Kaur is a Senior Lecturer at the NUS Business School in the Department of Management and Organisation, specializing in the fields of Innovation, Leadership, and Pedagogy. She holds a joint appointment as an Adjunct Lecturer at the College of Design & Engineering (ISEM). Her academic career includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Management and Organization) from NUS, alongside a Master of Science in Management of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering, all from NUS. She is an SMC Accredited Mediator and serves as a Non-Executive Director at Hayagreeva Pte Ltd and an Advisor at The Software Practice Pte Ltd.

Her teaching focuses on Negotiation & Conflict Management, Management of Technological Innovation, Leadership, and Ethics at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Research interests emphasize Asia-centric innovation frameworks, team processes, and pedagogical strategies for fostering innovation, including design thinking and learning from failure in engineering education.

Recent work explores failure tolerance in design-based learning and the role of robotics competitions in iterative problem-solving. She has contributed to understanding shared leadership's impact on team creativity and ambidextrous team dynamics.
