Dr. Ambreen Shahriar is a Senior Lecturer in Education at London Metropolitan University's School of Social Sciences and Professions. With a PhD from Goldsmiths, University of London and MA in Applied Linguistics and TESOL from the University of Leicester, she brings international experience from Goldsmiths, Anglia Ruskin, University of Northampton, and University of Sindh (Pakistan).
Her research examines:
- Language education and multilingual identities
- Cultural dimensions of learning
- Gender dynamics in educational settings
- Postcolonial perspectives on curriculum
Dr. Shahriar supervises postgraduate and doctoral research while teaching modules including 'Making sense of Education', 'Gender and Education', and 'Education, Sport and Health in Society'.
