Amber Gash

Amber Gash is a Senior Lecturer in Forensic Psychology at the University of Gloucestershire and a registered forensic psychologist with His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS), where she has worked since 2010 in roles including interventions facilitator and research assistant prior to qualifying.

Her research focuses on ethical and effective practices for reducing re-offending risk and creating decent, rehabilitative prison environments. She teaches core forensic psychology modules including Psychology in the Legal Process, Offenders: Causes Assessment & Intervention, and Developing the Forensic Practitioner, while maintaining active clinical practice within HMPPS to bridge academic theory with real-world correctional applications.
