Amaris Brown is the John Holmes Assistant Professor in the Humanities and Assistant Professor of English at Tufts University's School of Arts and Sciences. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on black disablement in African diasporic literature and art, intersecting critical race, disability, and gender studies. She holds a Ph.D. in Africana Studies from Cornell University (2023), supported by Ford Foundation and Mellon fellowships.
