Amandeep Singh is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Tampere University's Department of Materials Science and Environmental Engineering. His research focuses on nanoparticle synthesis using pulsed laser ablation in diverse environments, including supercritical CO₂. He holds a Doctor of Science (Technology) in Materials Science Engineering (2020) and a Master of Science in Materials Technology (2014), both from Tampere University.
Key contributions include developing an interference system for high-pressure environments and advancing methodologies for TiO₂ nanoparticle synthesis in CO₂ phases. His work bridges materials science, nanotechnology, and environmental engineering, emphasizing sustainable synthesis techniques.
He co-authored a successful EU H2020 NanoStencil grant application with Prof. Erkki Levänen. Awards include the TEK Award for his Master's thesis. Singh actively participates in international conferences and reviews for Applied Physics A. His research explores laser-material interactions, phase transitions in nanoparticles, and applications in energy and environmental technologies.
