Amanda Ringold serves as Assistant Professor of Nursing and Coordinator of the Family Nurse Practitioner Program within the Department of Health Promotion and Development at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing. Her dual role encompasses teaching across undergraduate and graduate programs while maintaining active clinical practice at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital Emergency Department where she coordinates the Forensic Nursing Program.

Her clinical leadership in emergency department forensic programs directly informs her advocacy for systemic improvements in sexual assault response.
