Amanda Printz Whooley is an Associate Professor of Philosophy and Philosophy Program Coordinator at Oglethorpe University. She holds a B.A. from Guilford College and a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California.
Research Focus: Her work centers on the History of Philosophy, particularly Existentialism (e.g., Kierkegaard), and the intersection of philosophical ideas with contemporary societal issues. She explores themes like ethics, the meaning of life, and philosophical foundations of art and mathematics.
