Corinne Gartner is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Wellesley College. Her research focuses on ancient Greek philosophy, particularly ancient ethics and moral psychology, examining these themes within the broader metaphysical and epistemological frameworks of thinkers like Aristotle, Plato, and the Hellenistic philosophers (Stoics, Skeptics, Epicureans). She teaches courses in ancient philosophy and value theory, including seminars on topics such as Medical Ethics, Ancient Theories of Pleasure, and Philosophy of Friendship.
