Amanda McCullough

Amanda McCullough is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Human Development and Family Science, Harmon College of Business and Professional Studies, University of Central Missouri. She also serves as the Clinic Director of the Central Missouri Clinic for Individual, Couple, and Family Therapy.

Mrs. McCullough’s research and therapeutic interests focus on trauma, military families, and substance use disorders. Her recent work explores grief processes in military widows, ethical challenges in recovery support, and loneliness in addiction. Her publications emphasize trauma-informed interventions, community-based support systems, and family dynamics in recovery.

Mrs. McCullough supervises therapists entering the field and co-chairs a committee organizing conferences for Marriage and Family Therapy professionals. She also maintains a private practice for couples and individuals, alongside her clinical and academic roles.
