Amanda Lenhardt is a Lecturer in Development Policy and Practice at King's College London's Department of International Development, part of the School of Global Affairs. She holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of British Columbia and has worked at institutions like the Overseas Development Institute and Save the Children. Her research focuses on poverty reduction, social exclusion, and climate change adaptation in low- and middle-income countries.
Her work spans three core areas: identity-based discrimination's impact on welfare outcomes, drivers of poverty toward SDG 1 achievement, and climate-smart agriculture practices. She contributes to King's Climate, Environment, and Uneven Development research group and the Social Justice group.
