Amanda Hooper

Amanda Hooper is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the UWA Medical School, The University of Western Australia. Her research focuses on lipid metabolism disorders, genetic diseases, and clinical pharmacology, with a particular emphasis on familial hypercholesterolemia and inherited hypocholesterolaemias. She has contributed to over 130 peer-reviewed publications and holds an h-index of 28 with 3,042 citations.

Her research aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly addressing non-communicable diseases.
