She completed her PhD in children's word learning at London Metropolitan University in 2015. She also runs research method workshops for students using SPSS.
Her research interests span quantitative studies in cognitive development, with recent work exploring fast mapping in adults. Grants include three internal awards at London Met, though early grants were impacted by COVID-19. The most recent grant supported an online experiment on fast mapping across age groups.
Dr. Holland's work bridges experimental psychology and education, emphasizing practical applications of cognitive science in learning environments.
