Dr. Amanda Bryant-Friedrich is Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Dean of the Graduate School at Wayne State University's Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She joined Wayne State in August 2020 after serving as Dean of the College of Graduate Studies and Vice Provost for Graduate Affairs at the University of Toledo, with prior academic appointments at Oakland University and Wayne State.

Research Focus
Her laboratory investigates naturally occurring and synthetically modified nucleosides/nucleotides to elucidate molecular mechanisms of disease pathogenesis. This foundational work drives innovative approaches to pharmaceutical design, emphasizing molecular etiology studies and therapeutic development pipelines.
