Professor Amanda Adler holds dual roles as Professor of Diabetic Medicine and Health Policy at the University of Oxford and Director of the Diabetes Trials Unit (DTU). She concurrently serves as Honorary Consultant Physician, Commissioner on the Commission on Human Medicines (CHM), and Vice-Chair of NICE's Technology Appraisal Committee. Education: Trained in economics, medicine, and epidemiology in the US, followed by specialized studies in pharmacovigilance and pharmacoepidemiology in the UK. Professional roles include 12 years as Chair of NICE's Technology Appraisal Committee and leadership in global health organizations like the WHO Technical Advisory Group for Diabetes.
