Alyson Ford

Alyson Ford is an Associate Research Professor and Manager of Radio Telescopes at Steward Observatory, University of Arizona. Her research focuses on the gaseous content of galaxies and processes shaping this gas, including star formation, stellar feedback, and gas accretion. She utilizes multi-wavelength observations (UV to radio) and 3D hydrodynamic simulations to study topics like HI clouds in the Milky Way's disk-halo interface and young stars in elliptical galaxies.
