Altaf Darvesh

Altaf Darvesh is an Associate Professor at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), with dual appointments in the College of Pharmacy and the College of Medicine. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Cincinnati and has advanced education in pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacy from Indian institutions.

Research Interests focus on:

• Neuroprotective potential of natural products (e.g., polyphenols, curcumin, resveratrol)
• Neurochemical mechanisms of amphetamine neurotoxicity
• Pharmacology of antipsychotic agents
• Course development in pharmaceutical sciences
