Alper Turan is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Tulane University's Department of Architecture, concurrently serving as an Architecture and Design Fellow. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Istanbul Technical University and a post-professional M.Arch II from Yale University School of Architecture.

His research and practice focus on architecture, graphic design, and digital media representation. He has collaborated with renowned studios like Pentagram Design (working with Paula Scher) on projects for institutions such as the Public Theater and High Line. His work has been exhibited at venues including the V&A Museum (London) and Studio X (Istanbul), and published in Archinect, Pan Scroll Zoom, and KoozArch. Since 2023, he leads Post-Form, an independent design practice.
Teaching includes courses like ARCH 1011 Architecture Studio and ARCH 2311 Digital Media. His creative process bridges academic research with professional design innovation.
