Alper Evrensel, MD, is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Üsküdar Üniversitesi. He graduated from Gülhane Faculty of Medicine (1999) and completed a Doctorate in Psychiatry (2002). His research focuses on the gut-brain axis, neuroinflammation, psychiatric disorders, and microbiota-brain interactions.
